The Level 1 O3 Aware course provides a basic awareness of ozone safety fundamentals, including ozone properties, hazards, and best practices for operating or maintaining ozone systems.

Audience
This course is designed for all personnel who work with or around ozone systems. It provides an introduction or refresher appropriate for both non-technical and technical personnel.

This course is available as an add-on to Level 1: O2 Aware, which is a prerequisite course on oxygen safety awareness.
Learning Goals
Students will build upon their understanding of oxygen safety, adding a basic introduction to the unique properties and hazards of ozone (chemical instability, toxicity, fire risk) and safe practices for working with ozone systems. Quizzes are provided to review the main points in each section.

Formats
- The self-paced, on-demand version of this course provides approximately 45 minutes of content with built-in review quizzes required to receive a course completion certificate.
- The live webinar version of this course provides approximately 30 minutes of ozone safety content added to WHA’s Level 1 or Level 2 oxygen safety live webinar course. Content can be custom-tailored to a client’s specific systems and needs. Students can participate individually on their own devices or together in one room.
- The onsite classroom version of this course provides approximately 30 minutes of ozone safety content added to WHA’s Level 1 or Level 2 oxygen safety course. All content can be custom-tailored to meet a client’s specific needs, featuring unique systems and factors found on-site.
Cost
