Jose joined the WHA team in 2022.

He is originally from the coast of Chiapas, Mexico, but he has lived in the United States for many years. He is the second of four siblings and loves traveling to visit his close-knit family, located both in Mexico and United States.

Jose brings a vast array of labor experience to WHA. He earned a Diesel Mechanic Certificate at El Paso Community College. He has attended numerous leadership training sessions and is first-aid certified.

Jose currently lives in Anthony, New Mexico. He has been married to his wife, Esther, for over 20 years and they are the proud parents of two children. Their daughter Kayla attends New Mexico State University (NMSU), and their son Josias is in middle school.

In his spare time, Jose coaches a soccer team and enjoys playing soccer as well. He is a big fan of Real Madrid and Pumas, and he loves listening to and playing music.

Jose works with the youth at the church where he and his family are active members. He is the Regional Commander in El Paso for the Royal Ranger Ministry, whose mission is to equip and empower the next generation of young men. He is also involved in leading worship at his church.
