Alex joined WHA’s engineering staff as a Mechanical Engineering Intern in 2018.
At WHA, Alex supports WHA’s senior engineers in the Failure Analysis, Hazard Analysis, and Testing service areas. Among other duties, Alex works in WHA’s forensic inspection labs, supports the buildup and maintenance of facility and test systems, assists in the execution of technical testing, and provides research and process improvement input for testing and safety topics.
He brings to WHA a surplus of relevant experience after an assignment in the United States Marine Corp where he worked as a Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Rep providing service, maintenance, and safe-for-flight inspections for H-1 Helicopters. Alex also brings to WHA 5+ years of experience supervising and directing shifts of Flightline Marines as well as servicing a fleet of helicopters. Before leaving the US Marine Corp, Alex was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for professional achievement and superior performance.
Alex is currently finalizing his Mechanical Engineering degree at New Mexico State University with an expected graduation date of late 2023.
