WHA’s Level 4: O2 Analyze course is known throughout industry as the most comprehensive and highly-regarded technical oxygen safety training course available. Students will learn about specifying compatible materials, mitigating ignition through proper design and engineering controls, and implementing good practices related to cleaning, system operations and maintenance.
Audience
Technical personnel, including design engineers, process engineers, chemical and safety engineers, materials scientists, senior maintenance personnel, system supervisors, procedure writers, and others.
Learning Goals
The learning goal of this oxygen safety training course is to master oxygen systems design and fire risk analysis methods.
Student Objectives
The student will identify system-level and component-level hazards, gain proficiency with the OFRA tool, and develop solutions, including advanced design concepts, that lower the probability and consequence of ignition through industry-specific case studies.
Formats
- When presented onsite, packaged as a three-day course, you’ll receive content that’s custom-tailored to your company’s oxygen systems and technical training needs.
- WHA also offers this course as a training event twice per year at the WHA Test & Training Facility located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA and twice a year at various locations in Europe. Courses presented in-house at WHA include live test demonstrations as well as opportunities for private consulting and networking.
Cost
The cost for level 4 oxygen safety training is typically $2000-$2700 per person. The final cost depends on several factors, such as format, number of courses, number of personnel to be trained, and any custom add-ons. Group discounts are available.
